Two Trips to the Final and One Withdrawal: Recap of the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships' Opening
Results of the Ukrainians' performances on the championship's first day.
The European Athletics Indoor Championships have begun in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, running March 6-9. 18 Ukrainian athletes are taking part in the competition — Ukraine received its largest quota in the high jump, where the national team will be represented by three men and three women.
On the championship's first day, Ukrainians competed in four disciplines: high jump, triple jump, long jump, and the 60m hurdles. Yana Hladiichuk was also set to represent Ukraine in the pole vault, but withdrew from the competition on the day of the event due to health reasons.

On the second competition day, March 7, Ukraine will be represented by six athletes across four events: women's high jump, women's and men's 400m sprint, and men's triple jump.
