Team Ukraine Wins the Medal Table at the 2025 European Diving Championships: Final Event Recap
Team Ukraine has wrapped up the 2025 European Diving Championships.
Team Ukraine became the most decorated squad at the 2025 European Diving Championships, held May 22-28 in Antalya, Turkey. The continental championship's final event was the men's 3m springboard, in which Kirill Boliukh finished seventh.
Before that, on the first day of the 2025 European Championships, the mixed team won gold in the team event. On the fourth and fifth days, the team won three more times, and by the sixth day, the athletes claimed their fifth gold, in the 10m synchronized platform event.
How Kirill Boliukh Performed in the Final Individual Event of the 2025 European Diving Championships
- Kirill opened his performance with a dive with a 3.4 degree of difficulty, scoring 68 points and sitting in provisional sixth place. Judges scored his second dive 83.30 points, moving Boliukh up four spots. This dive proved the best of the Ukrainian's program.
- The third dive brought the athlete 74.10 points. The Ukrainian moved into first place with a total score of 225.40. In the fourth dive, though, he scored 58.50 points and dropped to fourth place, with a total of 283.90.
- In his fifth dive, Kirill Boliukh posted the worst result of his series — 49.50 points, dropping him to seventh place. In his sixth and final dive, he improved his score to 68.20. The Ukrainian finished seventh, trailing Poland's Andrzej Rzeszutek by 29.65 points.
As a result, Ukraine finished the 2025 European Diving Championships in first place in the medal table, winning five gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. This marks the national team's second consecutive continental championship win.
