The second day of the European Athletics Indoor Championships has wrapped up in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. As a result, Ukraine was represented in four events: women's high jump, women's and men's 400m sprint, and men's triple jump.

In the high jump, in particular, reigning Olympic champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Ukrainian champion Kateryna Tabashnyk opened competition, while in the 400m sprint, Oleksandr Pohorilko set a new national record.
